Work Programme - Work Packages
The overall objective of the project is to establish
local supplier networks for bio-fuels and stimulate the
uptake of these fuels in public sector fleets. This
objective will be achieved through the following main
packages of work:
-
WP1 - Project Management and Co-ordination (NELEEAC)
-
WP2 – Developing networks for suppliers and users (ESS)
-
WP3 – Developing supply chain thematic groups (CTI)
-
WP4 – Training and capacity building (NELEEAC)
-
WP5 – Best practice tools and implementation of
pilot projects (REACM)
-
WP6 – Project specific (National) Dissemination (BAPE)
-
WP7 – Common (International) Dissemination (MEA)
The relationship between these work packages is shown
below in the diagram below. Developing regional bio-fuel
networks will be the core of the project. These will be
supported by training and capacity building activities,
and will provide information for the best practice tools
and for dissemination. The thematic groups will work
across the project to provide technical support and
advice to the training and capacity building, and the
best practice tools activities. The management work
package provides for the overall running of the project
and the common dissemination package allows for
dissemination work at the EC level and with other
projects.
